MANHATTAN BEACH YOUTH RUGBY CLUB

2010 SEASON INFORMATION

All new and returning players for 2010 season must register with USA Rugby ($10) and complete a new 2009/10 USA Rugby CIPP form.

New players must also complete an MBTYRC registration form/waiver.

All NCR and FCR players must provide copy of proof of age.

2010 Season Registration

ALL NEW AND RETURNING PLAYERS:

Go to Rugby California website athttp://www.rugbycalifornia.org/
and complete a registration for the 2010 season. You can complete this online with a credit card or print a copy and mail to R ugby California with check or credit card number. In completing the application:

Â Select Individual Registration Form (not Pacific/West form)

Â Indicate club as Manhattan Beach Tykes Youth Rugby Club

Â Indicate HS/Youth registration ($10)

NOTE: YOU MAY NOT PARTICIPATE IN SOCAL YOUTH RUGBY W/O CURRENT RUGBY CALIFORNIA CIPP REGISTRATION AND PROOF OF AGE.

NEW PLAYERS:
All new players must complete a MBTYRC registration form/waiver before participating in any rugby activities. These forms are available from the Club on any preseason, practice or match day or via email request to blochtenberg@yahoo.com and must be signed by a parent/guardian and returned to the club along with a check for player dues (see right for dues information) prior to participation in games.

ALL NEW AND RETURNING FCR AND NCR PLAYERS:
All FCR and NCR players must provide a copy of proof of age (driver license, birth certificate or passport). The copies will be kept by the club and made available for review by club and league officials at matches and tournaments as required by SCYR league rules. (If desired, the copies will be returned upon completion of season.)

Registration on 12/2/09, 12/19/09, 9am-11am, at Meadows School on Rowel Avenue in Manhattan Beach.

Season:

Season begins:

-FCR on TBD for U10 & U12
- FCR U14 on TBD

2010 Fees:

MBTYRC dues:
$150.00 (plus USA Rugby dues $10)

Note: Dues includes club logo T-Shirt for new players
Rugby Gear Included in Dues:

-Rugby shorts/club color socks:

MOUTHGUARD IS MANDATORY AND SUPPLIED BY PLAYER ( can not practice nor play without mouthguard)

NOTE -- Player dues are shared fees used to cover club costs and expenses, including USA and SoCal rugby union dues, field rental, equipment, tournaments, post-game refreshments, parties, awards, wesbite hosting, etc. (FCR has longer season and more practices, hence more dues than NCR.) Coaches are volunteers and are not paid.
