2008 SEASON INFORMATION

All new players must complete a USA Rugby CIPP form and a MBTYRC registration form/waiver.
All returning players must complete a USA Rugby CIPP form.
All NCR and FCR players must provide copy of proof of age.

2008 Season

ALL PLAYERS:
Go to the membership section of USA Rugby website at http://www.usarugby.org/membership/forms/individual.html and complete a “USA Rugby Participant Enrollment Application” for the 2008 season. You can complete this online with a credit card or print a copy and mail to USA rugby with check or credit card number. In completing the application:

Â Select Individual Registration Form (not Pacific/West form)

Â Indicate club as Manhattan Beach Tykes Youth Rugby Club

Â Indicate HS/Youth registration ($10)

Â Indicate registration for 2008 season (not 2007)

YOU MAY NOT PARTICIPATE IN SOCAL YOUTH RUGBY W/O USA RUGBY 2007-8 CIPP REGISTRATION!

NEW PLAYERS:
All new players must complete a MBTYRC registration form/waiver before participating in any rugby activities. These forms are available from the Club on any practice/match day or via email request to greg@mbtykesrugby.com and must be signed by a parent/guardian and returned to the club along with a check for player dues (see right for dues information) prior to participation.

ALL NEW AND RETURNING FCR AND NCR PLAYERS:
All FCR and NCR players must provide a copy of proof of age (driver license, birth certificate or passport). The copies will be kept by the club and made available for review by club and league officials at matches and tournaments as required by SCYR league rules. (If desired, the copies will be returned upon completion of season.)

Note: Until further notice, all practices and home games will be held on Saturdays at Meadows School on Rowell Avein MB from 9:30 to 11:30.

Note: Beginning January 16, 2008, FCR only (U12 & U14) practices will be held on Wednesdays 6:00 to 7:30 at [TBD].

2008 Fees:

MBTYRC dues:
FCR $150* / NCR $125*

(*plus USA Rugby dues $10 (see left))

Note: Dues includes club logo T-Shirt for new players

Gear:
MBYRC logo rugby jersey: @$45

Rugby shorts/club color socks: @$30

Players also need rugby/soccer boots and a mouth guard

Note: Rugby jerseys, shorts and socks, as well as mouth guards, can be ordered/purchased from club before 12/15/07.

FYI -- Player dues are shared fees used to cover club costs and expenses, including USA and SoCal rugby union dues, field rental, equipment, tournaments, post-game refreshments, parties, awards, wesbite hosting, etc. (FCR has longer season and more practices, hence more dues than NCR.) Coaches are volunteers and are not paid.
